IT Home News on July 21st, Borderlands officially announced that the movie "Borderlands", an adaptation of the game of the same name, will be released on August 9th, 2024.
IT House learned from official information that the movie "Borderlands" was produced by Lionsgate, directed by Eli Roth ("Human Skin Inn"), written by Craig Mazin ("The Last of Us"), and starred by Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Mutlu, Hayley Bennett and others.
The filming started in April 2021 and was announced to be completed 2 months later. In January of this year, Lionsgate announced the reshooting of "Borderland", because Eli Roth was unable to participate in the filming due to schedule conflicts, and Tim Miller ("Deadpool") took over as director. In June of this year, "Borderless Land" was announced to be finalized again. Lionsgate described the film as "loyal to the original and added some details."
