Psychologists also put forward a saying: "the curse of knowledge" .
knowledge is a curse, because once you have it, you can't imagine it without it.
For example, it is difficult for people in the IT industry to explain how to operate computers to people who don’t know anything about computers without using terminology.
What does this show?
We always project our thoughts on others, so we make many mistakes: we assume that others know as much as ourselves, assume that others think like ourselves, and assume that others feel what they feel.
When we know less about others, the more we will use our own knowledge to fill in the gaps.
So, the easier it is to appear "I thought what I thought was what I thought" .
We can only see others through our own eyes. But the beliefs and knowledge that we already have in our brains are like a microscope lens. Through this lens, we will notice details that others cannot capture, but this will also bring you closer to the focus, making you miss the complete picture. We cannot understand the opinions of others.
know each other differently, so we think: "You think" is wrong, and "I think" is right. The way
corrects this error is to realize the influence of egocentricity on us. But the difficulty is that we don’t know when we were affected and when we were not.
