The Wesu High-speed Railway starts from the Weifang North Station of the Jiqing-Qingdao High-speed Railway, passes through Suqian City in the south, and connects to the Yanghe North Station reserved for the Xusu-Huaiyan Railway. The operating length of the line is 400.785 kilometers, of which 325.195 kilometers are in Shandong Province and 74.052 kilometers are in Jiangsu Province. As a component of the Beijing-Shanghai auxiliary channel in the medium- and long-term railway network plan, the Weisu High-speed Railway is a construction project of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" Railway Development Plan. The backbone line of the international railway network is a high-speed rail backbone line that mainly functions as a road network and also takes into account inter-city functions. The main line length of Qingdao Connection Line (Yanghekou Station to Wulian North Station) is 108.8 kilometers.
