China Taiwan Network, February 8th According to Taiwan's "United Daily News", Taiwan's cultural department has recently officially announced that it will add e-sports specialties as substitutes for the first time (inclusive) in 1993. There are 5 draftees born in and after 1994 (inclusive), a total of 10 places are open for application, and the application period ends on the 24th.
Taiwanese e-sports players have repeatedly achieved success in international e-sports competitions, and the e-sports industry has also driven huge economic output value around the world. Taiwan's "legislators" continue to call for the authorities to incorporate the e-sports industry into professional sports guidance and formulate specific laws.
Although e-sports has not yet been clearly positioned, the cultural department recently announced the "2017 Cultural Awards and E-sports Specialty Category Alternatives Selection Operation", of which there are 10 e-sports specialties substitutes, including 1993 (including) previous 5 draftees born in and after 1994 (including) in the Republic of China, as long as they meet the following qualifications, they can apply.
