Recently, there has been an uproar in Japan because of the newly revised Civil Code.
According to Global Network report, according to Japan's new law that will come into effect in April this year, the age of adults will be adjusted from 20 to 18 years old. But Japanese people worry that this will make the phenomenon of forcing high school students to film AVs rampant.
Japan has lowered the age of adulthood, one is to alleviate the aging process, and the other is to better solve the problem of juvenile delinquency. However, the Japanese people have discovered a loophole: high school students who are 18 or 19 years old will be recognized as adults, and they can participate in AV without the consent of their parents.
According to the current Japanese law, those under the age of 18 are prohibited from participating in AV, and those aged 18 and 19 must obtain the consent of their guardians to participate in AV. Some Japanese high school girls who have been tricked into the AV industry often take advantage of this provision to void the contract in exchange for their own freedom. And, those who trick them will be held accountable.

Now, Japanese people are worried that once such regulations no longer exist, the AV industry will extend its claws to 18 and 19-year-old female high school students and force them to shoot AV. Because in Japan, there are indeed many girls who have not been involved in the world are deceived and get involved in the industry without knowing it.
On a social platform, some Japanese netizens questioned: After amending the law, Japan still prohibits people under the age of 20 from drinking alcohol and racing horses, but it cancels the protection of the AV industry for people aged 18-19. In other words, a high school student can't drink alcohol, but he can sell his body. What kind of absurd logic is this?

For this reason, some Japanese lawmakers held a meeting in the Japanese Diet on the 23rd to request additional clauses to make up for this loophole. A Japanese congressman directly said: Japan is afraid that it will really become a "powerful adult film country", and such "disgraceful" things must not be allowed to happen.
Some Japanese women's rights groups also believe that this will further deepen the exploitation of women in the AV industry, especially for girls aged 18-19, because the industry already favors younger people.
According to Japanese media, at the meeting held by Japanese parliamentarians, , the former AV actress "Walnut Scent", who was deceived into entering the industry, also called on the Japanese government to improve relevant laws.
It is reported that "Walnut Fragrance" dreamed of becoming a singer when she was in college. At that time, a scout told her that she could help her participate in the program. Unexpectedly, when "Walnut Aroma" arrived at the scene, more than a dozen men surrounded her and forced her to "accept nudity". Under persecution and fear, she had no choice but to sign an AV contract.
Later, she dropped out of college and gave up her dream of music, "leaving scars that will never be erased in her life." "Walnut Fragrance" said that she still feels confused and unconfident because of her past, so she doesn't want more girls to be victimized.
In addition to worrying about 18- and 19-year-old children being cheated, there are also Japanese people who are worried that they will take the initiative to enter the industry. Because of the increasing financial pressure on Japanese students, some may want to use this method to earn the tuition, accommodation, etc. they need so that they can successfully attend university.
Nowadays, the Japanese Internet is full of dissatisfied voices when talking about this topic, and many people shout that this is a "shame" for Japan. On April 1st, the new Japanese law is about to take effect, and there is not much time left for them.
