Chengcheng Lake was once the most famous scenic spot in southern Taiwan. The flourishing scene of tourists from the 1960s to the 1980s still remains in the childhood memories of Kaohsiung people. For many old Kaohsiung people, Clarification Lake is a scene in the growth of life. When I was young, I followed my teacher to Jiuqu Bridge, Zhongxing Tower, and Sanyou Pavilion for hiking and outing. When I grew up, I went to camp, barbecue, boat, fall in love, and memories of youth. It is always connected to this lake and mountains, even if its beauty fades after half a century, there are still deep emotions.

Since the end of 2013, the Kaohsiung City Government and the Water Supply Company's Seven District Management Office have reached a consensus, not only to provide free admission to Kaohsiung citizens, but also to rebuild the 52-year-old Chengcing Lake Scenic Area, the gate archway There are more welcoming mallards and fountains, showing a new look, beckoning to the citizens, taking advantage of the blooming season of yellow-flowered wind-suzuki and Nanyang cherry blossoms, let us revisit the old place, explore the past and present of Chengcing Lake, and experience the newness of Chengcing Lake charm.
The beauty of a half-century forest park
The Qinghu Lake Park covers an area of more than 300 public items, with 103 hectares of lake surface alone, and a 7-kilometer route around the lake. There are undulating hills and green roads in the area. You can often find one in just one turn. The secluded scenery is suitable for hiking, walking or cycling around the lake, and enjoy the wide and abundant scenery leisurely.
