Meteorological monitoring shows that heavy snowstorms occurred in Altay and Tacheng in Xinjiang in the past day. Heavy snowfall occurred in the mountainous areas of northern Altay and northwest Tacheng. Some of the above areas were accompanied by strong winds and cooling, with local temperature drops exceeding 8°C. From the 15th to the 18th, this strong cold air will continue to move eastward and affect the central and eastern regions and bring significant windy and cooling weather. The temperature drop in most areas will be 6 to 10°C, with local temperatures exceeding 12°C. During this period, the minimum temperature will be 0°C. It will press southward to the southern part of North China and the eastern part of Northwest China. This year's No. 23 typhoon "Taozhi" has weakened from a severe tropical storm level to a tropical storm level in the early morning of today (13th). At 5 o'clock in the morning, its center was located about 600 kilometers northeast of Yongxing Island, Xisha, Sansha City, Hainan Province. On the northeastern sea surface of the South China Sea, it is 20.1 degrees north latitude and 116.9 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is level 9 (23 meters/second), the minimum air pressure in the center is 990 hPa, and the radius of the level 7 wind circle is 120-250 kilometers.

It is expected that "Taozhi" will move west-southwest at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the sea east of Hainan Island, and its intensity will slowly weaken. On the afternoon of the 14th, it will turn to the west-southwest and its intensity will gradually weaken.
