This year, the UAE will celebrate its 53rd National Day. In order to commemorate this holiday, the public and private sectors will have a holiday from December 2 (Monday) to December 3 (Tuesday), plus two days on the weekend, everyone will have a 4-day long holiday.

If you have taken a stroll along Umm Suqeim Beach recently, you may have seen a large UAE flag fluttering in the breeze. This is the "UAE Flag Garden", which is opened every year to celebrate the UAE Flag Day on November 3 and the National Day on December 2.
This year’s theme is “#zayed and rashid”, which pays tribute to former UAE leaders Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Salute to Maktoum.
11,600 national flags were carefully arranged on site to form portraits of the two leaders to commemorate their significant contributions to the UAE.
It is worth noting that this year’s flag garden is the largest so far, with a width of 75 meters and a length of 104 meters.
Fireworks Show
On December 2 and December 3, Dubai will hold fireworks shows in 4 places: JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta and Dubai Festival City Mall. The specific time has not yet been determined. The fireworks display at Dubai Festival City Mall will be combined with the daily imagine light show.
From November 29th to December 3rd, there will be a fireworks show at 9 o'clock every night at Dubai Global Village.
Market and Food Festival
It wouldn’t be a real festival without parties and good food. During the National Day, it is recommended that you go to the beach canteen (beach canteen), ripe market (ripe market) and winter wonderland (winter wonderland) to enjoy delicious food.
Expo City Concerts
During the National Day, Dubai Expo City will hold two completely free United Symphony Orchestra concerts, accompanied by the firdaus Orchestra, and the repertoire includes the UAE national anthem.
