In October this year, the film "Snow Leopard", which was established in Qinghai, recommended by the Propaganda Department of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and approved by the State Film Administration, participated in the main competition of the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival and won the Best Film Award at the festival; before Soon, Wanma Tseden won the Best Director Award at the 5th Hainan Island International Film Festival for "Snow Leopard"; the film "Snow Leopard and Her Friends", produced by the Propaganda Department of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee as a supporting unit and the film channel, won the Best Documentary Award at the 36th Golden Rooster Film Festival. The awards for the two films have received wide attention and widespread praise in Qinghai, which has greatly enhanced the determination and confidence of the province's literary and artistic workers, especially film workers, to tell wonderful stories about the high-quality development of Qinghai's ecological civilization through light and shadow.
This seminar was guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts and the spirit of the National Publicity Ideological and Cultural Work Conference, and implemented the Provincial Party Committee’s deployment requirements and overall plans for building an ecological civilization highland and four industrial locations. Arrange relevant key tasks for the provincial publicity, ideological and cultural work, summarize and analyze the shooting and production experience, artistic characteristics and artistic achievements of "Snow Leopard" and "Snow Leopard and Her Friends", study and analyze the artistic rules and efforts in the creation and production of outstanding films with ecological civilization themes in Qinghai, Encourage film workers across the province to understand Qinghai, love Qinghai, and promote Qinghai well. At the meeting, experts, scholars, and film and television artists won awards through the creation of "Snow Leopard" and "Snow Leopard and Her Friends". They closely combined the construction of Qinghai ecological civilization and the exploration and creation of ecological civilization film theme resources. They expressed their opinions and suggestion.
The seminar also invited Huangfu Yichuan, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a researcher at the China Film Art Research Center (China Film Archive), and the president and editor-in-chief of "Contemporary Film" magazine.
