The
exhibition started from paintings in the Yuan Dynasty, to experience the elegance and seclusion of literati. In Ming and Qing paintings, there are mountains and rivers in the north and south of China and the lively and prosperous folk customs. Modern Chinese and Western cultures converge, science is imported, Chinese calligraphy and painting art advances with the times, eclectic, and thousands of sails compete. After the founding of New China in 1949, the socialist modernization was changing with each passing day, and traditional Chinese paintings also developed "new Chinese paintings" with new content and new forms.
