September 7 to September 11, 2020. Tianxiong Pictures went to Hainan Island to conduct the first on-site inspection of the film project " Skynet Wanted ". This time, the sceneries were set at Bianjiezhou Island, Hengdahaihua Island and Mission Hills Feng Xiaogang Film Commune. Since "Skynet Wanted" is a film about transnational cracking down on financial crimes, the main scene of the overseas pursuit takes place on an island, so Hainan Province was chosen as the location of "Skynet Wanted".
First we headed to Boundary Island Island, which has a pleasant scenery. Located in the southeastern sea of Hainan Island in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, it is about 1.2 nautical miles from the nearest coast of Hainan Island. It takes about 15 minutes for one-way transition by boat. The small island lies in the blue sea in a long strip from northeast to southwest. It looks like a saddle from a distance. It covers an area of about 0.41 square kilometers and the highest altitude is 99 meters. In January 2013, it was assessed as a national 5A-level tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration, and it is China's first island-type national 5A-level scenic spot.
Then we came to the Hengdahaihuadao film and television base, which is an artificial island, town. It is composed of three independent offshore islands, with a planned reclaimed area of about 8 square kilometers. The planned plane form is three flowers blooming in the sea, so it is named "Sea Flower Island". One of the islands established a film and television base. Equipped with professional studios, underwater photography facilities, setting workshops, prop warehouses and other facilities. Committed to focus on building a film and television industry chain and film and television experience tour base. Its excellent climate and policy support are the reasons why it has such a large scale. And there are many resources on and off the island, which can meet the different needs of each crew.
At the same time, we also visited the Mission Hills scenic area as a reference point for the scene. It is also very suitable for the selection of the film.
Through this trip, we have a greater grasp of the production of the film. Due to the uniqueness of the subject matter of transnational cracking down on financial crimes, we currently choose Hainan, a place with a climate and landscape close to Southeast Asia. The island, with its natural closed conditions, pleasant scenery and high degree of freedom, also provides a good choice for film production. And we will further advance the progress of "Skynet Wanted", hoping to use a higher level of production to bring audiences a more attractive movie experience.
