The Lancang-Mekong River originates from the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. It winds for nearly ten thousand miles and closely connects China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

32-year-old Dajie is a herdsman photographer from Angsai Township, Zaduo County. His hometown is known as the "Hometown of Snow Leopards in China" and is also the core area of ​​the Lancang River Source Park of Sanjiangyuan National Park.

In recent years, photographers from all over the world have come here to "encounter snow leopards" in an endless stream. Dajie, who loves photography, continues to communicate and learn with photographers from all over the world. In 2020, the Sanjiangyuan wildlife photography works of Dajie and other herder photographers were exhibited in Shanghai. "Many photography enthusiasts who went to the exhibition were very interested in our works. Through these photography works, more people can know about my hometown and the wild animals here.
