On the evening of July 21, the 11th North China Five Provinces (Districts) and Municipalities Dance Competition outstanding program performance was performed at the Beijing Comedy Theater. Dance artists and dance workers from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region gathered together. , celebrating the successful conclusion of the competition with passionate dance moves.
The dance competition in the five provinces (districts) of North China is a regional dance competition co-sponsored by the five literary federations of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and co-organized by the affiliated dancers associations. The competition adopts a rotating competition model. Since 2000 Since the first event in 2016, it has been successfully held for eleven times, which has promoted dance creation, cultivated dance art talents, popularized dance quality education, built a high-quality platform for "producing works and talents", and promoted the dance industry in North China. and contributed positively to the development of the national dance industry. The 11th event is organized and implemented under the leadership of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Beijing Dancers Association, and is co-organized by China Oriental Performing Arts Group and Shijingshan District Cultural Center. During the 6-day event, 200 finalists competed in 5 professional group and 4 group writing group competitions.
Twenty outstanding works of this competition from five regions, including "Children of the River", "Clay Sculpture Huazhang", "Lonely Shadow in the Wind and Snow", "Grandma's Castaway" and "Admiration", were brilliantly presented in the exhibition. It is reported that the 12th Dance Competition of Five Provinces (Districts) and Municipalities in North China will be held in Tianjin in 2026.
