The "Film Going to the Rural Areas - New Era College Students Aesthetic Education Support Teaching Tour" jointly initiated and hosted by Beijing Normal University and the China Film Archive once again joined hands with Xinghai County, Qinghai Province to start the 2024 aesthetic education support education activities. On July 19, the results exhibition of "Movies Going to the Rural Areas - Qinghai Tour of Supporting Aesthetic Education for College Students in the New Era" was held at Xinghai County Middle School.
Professor Xiao Xiangrong, Dean of the School of Art and Media of Beijing Normal University, participated in this exhibition through an online speech. He said that the 2024 "Movies Going to the Countryside - New Era College Students Aesthetic Education Supporting Education Qinghai Tour" will focus on the local history of Xinghai County, Qinghai Province Based on the current situation of culture and education, with the theme of "Film + Virtual Reality", a series of aesthetic education, ideological and political and film and television creation practice courses have been set up. This film aesthetic education journey deepens the concept of "educating people with beauty and moving towards beauty". In the interweaving of light and shadow, the children received the influence of art and technology. In the children's immature works, we have seen the preliminary results of aesthetic education support education, and we look forward to more people joining the "Movies to the Countryside - Aesthetic Education Support Education Tour in the New Era" activity.
This event awarded Xinghai County Middle School as the "Beijing Normal University Aesthetic Education Training Base", symbolizing a new chapter in the joint efforts of both parties to promote rural aesthetic education. Beijing Normal University will continue to cooperate with Xinghai County Middle School to bring more high-quality educational resources and advanced educational concepts into Tibetan areas and cultivate artistic and innovative talents in Tibetan areas in the new era. China Datang Group donated 30,000 yuan worth of educational books to the Fourth National Senior High School in Hainan Prefecture.
During the presentation of results, six sets of video works created by students and guided and assisted by members of the teaching team were projected on the screen. The flow of light and shadow reflected the unique creativity and imagination of the children. Various forms of VR short films, micro-movies, and stop-motion animations flourished, and diverse themes of campus, friendship, and social warmth played together. They spent two days from topic selection, shooting to post-production, visited every corner of the campus to select locations, and completed the clay production of the stop-motion animation by hand. Every frame embodies the wisdom and talent of the children. , every shot tells a chapter of their spiritual growth.
The group representatives and students who took the stage together with the members of the supporting teaching team all felt that seeing their works screened on the screen gave them a full sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
