"The Proud One", directed by the Beijing People's Art Theater and performed by students from Capital Normal University, recently appeared on the stage of the Cao Yu Theater of the Beijing International Drama Center. This year is the second year for Beijing People’s Art to implement the action plan of “Beijing Colorful Culture and Youth Blooming”. Since May, Beijing People's Arts has officially launched the theater's 2024 "Beijing Colorful Culture Youth Blooming" action, carrying out college student drama performances, bringing plays to campus, special drama exhibitions, reading areas, drama lecture halls, aesthetic education workshops, A series of activities such as art tutoring and play rehearsals. As one of the paired schools in the Beijing People's Art Group's "Big Troupe and Small Troupes Hand in Hand" project, Capital Normal University has nearly 50 college students participating in the creation and rehearsal of the crew this time, and the actors are all current students. Beijing People's Arts has sent a professional art team of more than 70 people composed of directors, actors, stage artists, etc. to provide full guidance, support and guarantee, and specially invited opera teachers to provide physical training for students based on the characteristics of the repertoire.

From casting, rehearsal to performance, the instructors of Beijing People's Art Theater participated in the entire creation and arrangement process of "The Proud One" in three months.
