After on-site understanding and regional analysis, it was determined that the elderly man went out at 12:30 noon. , went south to the mountains and never came back. After determining the time and direction of the elderly man's disappearance through monitoring, the Quanxiang rescue team immediately divided into four groups and conducted a blanket search at the missing location.

The lost location was surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, and rugged roads. In order to find the old man, the Quanxiang rescue team used loudspeakers to make non-stop broadcasts, hoping that the old man could hear him in time. At the same time, the search and rescue team used high-intensity flashlights to search in the mountains. Since the temperature had dropped to minus 2-3 degrees at night, the elderly would be in danger for every minute they were outside. In order to find the elderly man as soon as possible, the Quanxiang rescue team continued to publish missing person notices and other help-seeking information in various rescue groups of the association while searching.

At 9:30 pm, the good news came. After 2 hours of searching, the Quanxiang Rescue Team successfully found the old man in the southern mountainous area where he was lost. When the old man was found, he was lying motionless on the ground.

After on-site inspection, it was found that the old man tripped over a tree root, fell on a stone, and was bleeding from the head. In order to rescue the old man as soon as possible, the team members bandaged the old man with a first aid kit and made an emergency call to 120. Subsequently, the team members carried the old man down the mountain with quilts and sent him to the hospital for treatment. The old man's vital signs are currently stable.
