teaching material analysis:

"Caiwei (excerpt)" comes from " The Book of Songs Xiaoya ", which is a poem of the Han nationality in the pre-Qin period. "The Book of Songs·Xiaoya" is one of the two "Book of Songs", and its content is very extensive and rich, the most prominent of which are works about war and labor. The whole poem has six chapters, each chapter has eight lines. "Caiwei (Excerpt)" is a poem about soldiers returning home. The poem expresses the homesickness and bitterness of the generals, and expresses this feeling in the description of the scenery and the description of the military life.

There are six stanzas in the whole poem (every eight sentences are a stanza), imitating the tone of a soldier, and he is inspired by picking weeds. The first five stanzas focus on rewriting the hardships of life in the border war, the strong homesickness and the long-lost return home. The reason reveals that the soldiers not only have the joy of defeating the enemy, but also feel the pain of the battle, revealing the desire for peace; the sixth section ends the whole poem with a painful lyric, which is deeply touching.

This poem uses overlapping sentence patterns and metaphorical techniques, which embodies the artistic characteristics of "The Book of Songs". The first four sentences of the last chapter express the scenery and feelings of the two specific moments of the expedition that year and the surviving today. The words are simple and the meaning is deep, and the scenes are blended. It has always been regarded as one of the famous lines in the "Book of Songs". "Book of Songs" is the first collection of poems in the history of Han literature. It has a profound influence on the development of later generations of poetry and has become the source of the tradition of realism in Chinese classical literature.

Comprehension of poetry :

Caiwei (excerpt)

In the past I/gone, Yangliu/Yiyi.

Today I/come to think, rain and snow/start falling.

Walking on the road / delaying, carrying thirst / carrying hunger.

My heart/sorrow, I don’t know/I mourn!

Explanation:

【前】Once upon a time, it pointed out the times.

【前】refers to going to join the army at the beginning.

[Yiyi] Describes the appearance of Liusi being soft and swaying in the wind.

[思] The modal particle at the end of a sentence has no real meaning.

[rain and snow] rain and snow: refers to snow. "雨", read yù here.

【闻飞】It looks like the snow is falling heavily.

【Slowness】Slow look.

【包】then, again.

[Mo] No one.

Translation:

When I went out to war, the willows were blowing with the wind; now on the way back, heavy snow is flying all over the sky. The road is muddy and difficult to walk, and I am tired from thirst and hunger. Full of sadness and sorrow. Who understands my sorrow!

Theme:

"Caiwei (Excerpt)" describes the thoughts of an expeditionary soldier on his way back to his hometown, expressing the feelings of the soldiers who joined the army.

Appreciation:

The author captures "Yangliu Yiyi" and "Rain and Snow" which represent spring and winter respectively, and describes the long life of the army. "Yangliu Yiyi" describes the appearance of willow branches swaying in the wind, and "Yu Xue Fei Fei" describes the scene of snowflakes flying.

Summary of questions:

1, what kind of "willow" will make people feel "yiyi"?

The man in the poem is a soldier about to go to war. In this picturesque scenery, "I" wants to - (leave hometown). Every plant and tree in my hometown is worthy of nostalgia, but "I" on the expedition only sees Yiyi's willows. "Liu" and "Liu" are homophonic, which not only expresses the meaning of retention, but also expresses homesickness. Where is this Yiyi's willow, this is clearly Shuang Yiyi's hand.

2. What is the verse that best expresses the mood of the person in the poem?

The road is slow, full of thirst and hunger.我心伤悲,莫知我哀!
