Review of the incident
At about 4:30 on February 15, 2022, a fire broke out in the underground garage of Building 2, Huidong Star World, No. 38, Jinyang Road, Nanning City, resulting in the burning of 4 electric bicycles parked in the passageway. No casualties were reported. .
After investigation, the cause of the fire was that two students (one in grade five and one in grade one) flicked matches while walking in the underground garage, and accidentally flicked the ignited matches into the bag on an electric bicycle, which caused the fire.
"Bear children" set fire, parents must be held accountable! Recently, the residential property has also been issued a ticket, and the owner of the victim's car may face punishment.
On February 18, the fire rescue brigade of Nanning Economic and Technological Development Zone held a coordination meeting for the disposal of the fire accident. Firefighters, public security, community property, parents of two students and the owner of the victim attended the meeting.
The details of the fire were reported at the meeting, and the participants negotiated on the issue of compensation, and the fire rescue personnel were punished for the problem of property management.

The fire also exposed the hidden dangers of fire safety in the community where the incident occurred: electric bicycles were parked in the evacuation passage.
The "Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-Rise Civil Buildings" implemented on August 1, 2021 clearly stipulates: "It is forbidden to park electric bicycles or charge electric bicycles in public foyers, evacuation walkways, stairwells, and safety exits of high-rise civil buildings."
According to the provisions of Article 47, Paragraph 1, Item (7) of the "Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-Rise Civil Buildings", the Fire Rescue Brigade of the Economic and Technological Development Zone decided to impose a fine of 3,000 yuan on the property and required the community property to comply with the "five "One" standard regulates the management of parking and charging of electric bicycles.
Owners of electric bicycles: illegal parking will be punished
