"M3GAN" tells the story of , Megan , a lifelike toy doll with a high degree of artificial intelligence, designed to be a child's best playmate and a parent's most reassuring ally. Designed by Gemma, a prominent robotics expert at the toy company, Meghan is able to learn human behavior by listening and watching, and be a friend, teacher, playmate and protector of the children she cares for. When Gemma suddenly became the guardian of her orphaned eight-year-old niece Katie, she was unsure and unprepared to be a good parent, and the work pressure was very high, so she decided to use the artificial intelligence she designed.
