On October 6, a pre-election coalition aimed at supporting Tokayev was formed in Kazakhstan .
"As soon as the nomination campaign began, some national social groups decided to nominate incumbent President Tokayev as a candidate for the presidential election. The consistency of various political and social forces indicates that our social cohesion has reached a whole new level. Based on this, after consultations with some political parties and social groups, we decided to set up a People's Union to support Tokayev," Amanat Party Chairman Erlan Koshanov said on the 6th.
On October 5, Tokayev himself announced that he wanted the vote to be held by a broad coalition of socio-political forces rather than a single organization.
On October 6, the Amanat Party, the Bright Road Democratic Party, and the People's Party all decided to nominate Tokayev as a candidate for the extraordinary presidential election.
Amanat Party Chairman and Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Yeerlan Khoshanov emphasized on the 6th that the main goal of the current reform is to establish the principles of justice, fairness and unity.
"We can't go back to the past. Massive changes must continue legally. To achieve the ambitious goals before the nation, we need competent leaders. That's why I recommend Hasmu-Dormart Tokaye husband as a presidential candidate," he said.
November 20, Kazakhstan will hold an extraordinary presidential election.
