Early career
Andrea Riseborough was born in 1981 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England. My mother is a full-time secretary and my father is a car dealer. Rhysborough grew up in Whitley Bay.
At a very young age, Riseborough performed at the People's Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, such as Riding the England Side Saddle. He later worked at the Youth Theatre for another five years.

Riseborough spent her school days at Newcastle Independent School at Tyne Church High School in Jesmond. Graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2005 and became a member of the National Youth Theatre.

In addition to the film, Leesburg was awarded UK Film Free Trade for her role as Margaret Thatcher in the TV movie Margaret Thatcher: The Road to Finchley (2008) Association nominated and won critical acclaim for her performances in the Channel 4 miniseries Enchantress (2008) and National Treasure (2016).
