This is my first time in Europe and the first time to participate in a foreign film festival. The overall feeling is that people are floating in the rivers and lakes, and they rely on friends when they go out. All people living here are members of cultural institutions (mainly university professors and students) who have applied for green certificates like us. We are on the route of Paris-Venice-Florence-Rome-Paris, so our air ticket and accommodation cost only 466 Euros, which is really cheap.
Because Venice is a tourist city, the locals are very unfriendly to tourists, and the restaurants are amazingly expensive. On the first day, I was too hungry to put my luggage at the residence, and I ordered a pot of grass + beer by the water for 40 Euros (320 yuan). Therefore, during the film festival, we watched the film + wrote the story + soshow, basically only had a dinner, other times we ate very unpalatable pizza and sandwiches in the movie palace.
On the first day I watched "Balloon" directed by Wanma Caidan. Fortunately, the director reserved a ticket for me, so I didn't have to line up to enter the watch. I was late for a few minutes. Movies at the Venice Film Festival require queuing just like Cannes. The difference is that the media field is one day before the premiere.
