On the occasion of the 33rd China Film Golden Rooster Awards, the second Xiamen Film Forum and Screening Week will also help create the city's Golden Rooster atmosphere, enhance the exchange and interaction of film and television culture in Xiamen, and build a film exchange platform in Xiamen. In order to show diversified Southern Fujian video works, the exhibition section will not only show feature films by Fujian directors, but also focus on short films by a new generation of young creators.
The opening film of this exhibition week is "Danhou" directed by Shen Shaohe. This film focuses on the traditional music of Southern Fujian and the inheritance of the world-class cultural heritage "Nan Yin". It tells the story of the heroine Lin Boer who left home with her adoptive mother in the 1950s and still insisted on inheriting Nanyin.
