This is an experiment in which Chen Chaoming, the chair professor of the Department of Applied Foreign Languages of the University of Practice, and students from Pingtung and Yunlin are experimenting with a teaching change plan. What needs to be changed is the lack of resources in rural areas, poor student learning, and "uncompleted learning" at the elementary school stage, resulting in a high proportion of C-level (to be strengthened) in the National High School Examination.
For a long time, the two subjects of English and mathematics have always been the most hated subjects among elementary and middle school students. In the annual examination, the proportion of the national English subject to be strengthened is as high as one-third on average. Students above grade level have not learned English. Chen Chaoming found that these 70% of the students were exposed to English almost from the third grade of elementary school. They gave up because they could not learn or could not keep up. They went all the way to graduation from junior high school. The seven years of English study were all in the classroom. For guests, learning is nothing.
Tutors for college students, teaches elementary school students and teaches themselves
The Ministry of Education started from Yunlin and Pingtung in 104, and launched a four-year English transformation plan for elementary schools.
