Zhang Zhujun revealed that a 27-year-old Thai housewife who was diagnosed yesterday notified the Health Protection Center that she had gone shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok with a friend who was diagnosed only after returning to Thailand, but the center found that the information was incorrect. A 35-year-old Thai friend who had been in contact with a housewife did not leave Hong Kong and was initially diagnosed today. This initial confirmed case also lived in Haoli Building. The center is asking the police to trace people living with it.
Zhang Zhujun said that because the relevant person gave the center incorrect information, the center will investigate whether the relevant behavior is illegal and may prosecute if necessary.
In addition, there was another case with no source that day, involving a 46-year-old woman who lives in Tsing Yi. She went to work in Kwai Chung. During the incubation period, she went to the Gateway Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui for a buffet lunch and had sandwiches at the Kwai Hing Kowloon Trade Center.
