Regarding "double barrels", in the whisky world, it mostly refers to the mixture of Shirley and Bourbon barrels. One refers to the mixture of two barrels of raw wine, and the other refers to the maturation of the liquor in two barrels. . The McAllen Winery purchases high-quality oak as barrel wood from the vast green forests of northern Spain and the lush forests of Ohio, Missouri, and Kentucky.
