Michael Jackson live performances true and false singing finishing full version - Lujuba

This article only represents the author's own point of view, does not represent the position of this website, and is only for reference discussion and communication purposes.

I have never had any opinion on the issue of false singing. For me, the only criterion for evaluating a live performance is the performance. If you are fully prepared and the effects of the pre-recorded track are handled very well, and the audience at the scene does not feel any violation, then this is of course a good performance; on the contrary, if you sing badly, you have to go up and sing. I also want to advertise the inexplicable superiority brought by my "true singer", then I will not see you.

What I dislike is the artist who "uses false singing to deal with things". You don’t even bother to deal with the original recording. You keep the "electronic sound effects", and even the different vocals and layers are lip-synched, making the audience feel awkward when listening. This is irresponsible false singing.

lip-synching itself is just a way of performance, no different from live singing, it is the pros and cons of the performance caused by the way you use.

Anyway.

I was idle and bored and sorted out the lip-synched performances of MJ's performances over the years. There are several principles when sorting them out:

1. Performances without singing parts are not included.

2. Singing with only melody is considered "true singing", and the rest of screams and monologues are only marked as "live".

3. Most of them are judged by my repeated listening to the official video, meal shot video and audio, recordings of various versions, and sample recordings. Some of the filming videos are too vague, and I will add the word "suspect" if I am not sure.

4. It is impossible for me to watch every tour from beginning to end. I will pick a few stops at the beginning, middle and end of each stage. If you find which song in the show is different from the one I compiled, you can tell me, thank you.

5. If the recording fails to be played back in time due to equipment failure, the true singing will not be recorded in this case.

6. This Is It concert information comes from Wikipedia Michael Jackson's This Is It.

replaced several real songs other than "I'll Be There" with recordings. A more obvious evidence is the sentence "Darlin' take it slow" in "The Love You Save". From the amateur shooting versions of the two concerts, it is obvious that MJ used false voices and a higher-pitched melody. Some sources believe that the part of the performance after climbing the ladder is fake singing, and the recording comes from the demo "What About Us" of "Earth Song". The melody and lyrics he sang are indeed the same as "What About Us". But one question is that, according to the movie, this paragraph is down-key, but "What About Us" and "Earth Song" are on the same key. Of course, transposition is not impossible.

13. "Billie Jean" only the ad-libs part is actually sung. The recording comes from the original demo of this song.

"Rock with You", "Dirty Diana" and "Don't Stop'Til You Get Enough" all have a down-key during rehearsal, so it is speculated that they should be live singing. "Rock with You" is lower than Bad World Tour, and "Dirty Diana" is higher than Bad World Tour. "This Place Hotel" does not have a flat key, but the performance of this song during the Bad World Tour is also sung according to the original key.
