It is reported that "Elephant Goes to Banna" is based on the puppet show "The Elephant Comes", which is deeply loved by the audience and has appeared on the Spring Festival Gala stage. Based on the real events of the "Asian elephant herd" traveling north and returning to the south in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, it integrates the rich national culture and customs of Yunnan and tells the touching story of the elephant family through 9 chapters. The play not only vividly shows the interesting and touching moments of a herd of 15 elephants traveling north and returning to the south, but also depicts the selfless dedication of the people of all ethnic groups in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan in the cause of ecological protection. At the end, recorded images of real elephant herds appeared on the big screen in a timeline, and the whole audience was immersed in the warmth of ecological civilization of "harmony between man and nature, and man and animal."
In the performance, when the drone delivers milk-stimulating food to the elephant mother who is in urgent need of lactation, there is now silence waiting for the drone to accurately delineate the feeding range; when the baby elephant in the play is dying and the elephant group bids farewell to it, The young audience clenched their fists to cheer it up; when the greedy elephant drank wine by mistake and showed a funny expression, the scene burst into laughter...
During the curtain call of the performance, we saw the actors removing the elephant and baby elephant puppets. When everyone was sweating, the audience burst into applause of thanks to pay tribute to the actors. Many people were even more surprised to find that most of these actors were women and praised them one after another.
The audience said, "If the previous "Elephants Are Coming" was a rediscovery of the gentle power of natural ecology, then today's "Elephants Go to Banna" is not only a visual feast, but also a baptism of the soul. We feel as if we are personally Wandering in the remote and mysterious land of Xishuangbanna, you can experience the subtle connection between life and the beautiful vision of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. Every call of an elephant is a story about courage, wisdom and love. We have seen their survival wisdom in nature, and have also reflected on the impact of human activities on this pure land. It is also a profound reflection on life, nature and love. "
