Notice on the adjustment of some road traffic organization measures during large-scale events held by the Olympic Sports Center and Huanglong Sports Center

On August 23 and 24, 2024, the Olympic Sports Center and Huanglong Sports Center will hold Large-scale mass activities. In order to ensure orderly and safe traffic on surrounding roads during the event, in accordance with Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the traffic management department of the public security organ will adjust the traffic organization measures on some roads. The relevant matters are now announced as follows:

1. Olympic Sports Center

(1) From 17:30 on August 23 and 24 every day until the end of the event, Feihong Road (section from Qijiazha Lane to Wentao) Motor vehicles (except community and unit vehicles and work vehicles in the area) are prohibited from entering as appropriate, and diversion measures will be taken on peripheral roads as appropriate.

(2) From 22:10 every day until the end of the event, roads around the Olympic Sports Center include Wentao Road, Guanlan Road, Boao Road, Benjing Avenue, Yangfan Road, Airport City Avenue, Fengqing Avenue, Binsheng Tunnel and other roads Temporary traffic control measures will be adopted as appropriate; the Binsheng Road off-ramp of Xixing Bridge (Qianjiang Third Bridge) and the Xinye Road entrance of Boao Tunnel will be temporarily closed as appropriate.

2. Huanglong Sports Center

From 22:00 on August 24 to the end of the event, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented on Huanglong Road, Qiushi Road, Shuguang Road, Xixi Road, Yugu Road and other roads around Huanglong Sports Center depending on the situation.

Citizens who go to the Olympic Sports Center and Huanglong Sports Center to participate in activities should try to choose the subway or bus to travel. Traffic participants are requested to follow the instructions of on-site police, management personnel and traffic signs.
