1, " is alive "
Starring: Ge You / Gong Li / Jiang Wu
Movie review: "Alive" - original work by Yu Hua. The movie is still soft-hearted. In the end, Jiazhen, Erxi, and Mantou are not dead, which can be regarded as giving ordinary people a little way to survive. It's 2 hours and 12 minutes, but it's still a bit rushed in some places. Many of Youqing's scenes didn't portray him well. Raising lambs, lambs being slaughtered, going to school with broken shoes... these are all very well presented. Characters, although Youqing’s characters do not account for many scenes, the fate of the supporting characters can better highlight the emotions of the protagonist and readers. The addition of shadow puppetry is actually a good addition, as it symbolizes "life is like a play, and play is like life." The scenes in the movie are very well done, with a sense of time and place. It would be better if we could shoot for three or four hours.
2, "The Devils Are Coming"
Starring: Jiang Wen / Teruyuki Kagawa / Yuan Ding
Movie review: This is a very ironic movie, which vividly interprets the kindness and ignorance of the Chinese people in that era like sheep, and is consistent with The duplicity and cruelty displayed by the Japanese army formed a strong contrast. This movie tells us that being kind-hearted will not let some people know how good you are. Just like the Japanese army, they only obey the strong, and their kindness will only make the Japanese know that they are lambs to be slaughtered. The end of the movie is quite ironic. Not a single Japanese who was killing people and setting fires everywhere died, but the ones who died were Chinese, and the executioners were still Japanese. I have to say it is Jiang Wen's best movie so far. ps: After watching this movie, the only thing I can do is slap myself hard in the mouth.
3, " Hoh Xil "
Starring: Duobujie/Zhang Lei/Qidao
Movie review: It took me an hour and a half to watch it. In addition to my hatred for the poachers, I also felt that no matter what, I gave everything except help. The support of the authorities is resentful. They have no money, no one, no weapons, and no power to punish poachers. They can only fine them or release them where they are. Then they are talking about protecting Tibetan antelopes. Isn’t it just pretending? Maybe the authorities just want to show off and don't bother to care about it at all, but there are always people who will take it seriously, and there will always be people who even pay for it with their lives. Peel off a piece of skin for five yuan. It turned out that there are more than one million Tibetan antelopes in Hoh Xil, and the life of the entire Tibetan antelope group is worth millions... Maybe I will forget this storyline in the future, but I will always remember a piece of white cloth in the desert, and Those four words, Hoh Xil.
4, "Blind Mountain"

Video comments: I watched it a long time ago, and I still remember the mood after watching it. Even after watching " Dog Town ", I didn't have much empathy for killing an entire village, but after watching Blind Mountain, I understood. This is a very profound movie. The feeling of powerlessness that penetrates the screen runs through the entire play, as well as the persistence of hope and the final crime at all costs. The plot of the entire film is compact and the rhythm is just right. From the moment the heroine Bai Xuemei was abducted and sold to a mountain village, the audience's hearts were tightly pulled. What happened to Bai Xuemei makes people heartbroken, but the people in the mountain village make people love and hate them. Their ignorance, ruthlessness and cruelty make people deeply angry; but their kindness, simplicity and tenacity make people moved.
5, "The Blind Shaft"
Starring: Wang Shuangbao / Wang Baoqiang / Li Yixiang
Movie comments: The picture quality made it a bit unbearable at the beginning, and the more I watched it, the more I couldn't stop. Art comes from reality, but the scary thing is that reality is far more cruel than art. There are two kinds of Chinese stories in the film, one is like hearing thunder in silence, and the other is like "The Blind Shaft", which sounds cruel and absurd to an incredible degree, but A closer look reveals that they are all forced by life. So where are the bad guys? I am glad that this film (or even entry) exists, and I am grateful to Director Li Yang for his independent production. Watching such a "banned film" starring the young Wang Baoqiang, I couldn't help but imagine what Chinese movies could be like in a parallel universe without censorship.
