Immediately after the opening ceremony, the first performance of the 9th China Campus Drama Festival - the drama "Together in the Same Boat" was performed at the Grand Theater of Chengdu ASEAN Art Center of Chengdu University. The drama "Together in the Same Boat" is produced by Southwest University for Nationalities . It vividly interprets the story of Tongji University moving to Lizhuang Town, Yibin in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War to escape the war. At the most critical moment for the Chinese nation, Tongji University and Lizhuang joined hands, heart to heart, and joined hands. The touching story of living through the unforgettable years of the Anti-Japanese War aroused strong responses from the students and Chengdu citizens at the scene.
It is understood that the collection of plays for this year’s Campus Drama Festival has received enthusiastic responses from primary and secondary schools across the country. A total of 355 plays, large and small, were submitted by more than 210 primary, secondary and secondary schools, including 143 major plays and special opera excerpts. 58, including 154 short plays including textbook plays, the number of registered plays hit a record high. After a strict and standardized selection process, 39 large and small plays were finally selected. Many young students who love drama from all over the country will show their talents in Chengdu from November 12th to 22nd, bringing 24 diverse and exciting performances. Participating schools include both art professional colleges and comprehensive universities; universities and vocational schools, as well as primary and secondary schools. The main participants include students from universities, middle schools and primary schools, as well as postgraduate students and young teachers. The "campus" category of this campus drama festival has achieved coverage of all age groups, fully demonstrating the diverse charm and new look of campus drama culture in the new era.
This campus drama festival will also continue the excellent tradition of "post-performance talks" in previous years.
