html On the evening of July 13, produced by the Propaganda Department of the Neijiang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Neijiang Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Sichuan Sichuan Theater, and Neijiang Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. , the modern large-scale Sichuan opera "The World" jointly created and staged by Sichuan Provincial Sichuan Theater, Sichuan Art Vocational College, and Neijiang Sichuan Opera Troupe was staged at the Chengdu City Concert Hall.Zhang Daqian is one of the most famous and influential Chinese painting masters in China in the 20th century. He was born in Neijiang, Sichuan, where Sichuan Opera is famous for its stunts such as changing faces, breathing fire, rolling lamps, and shaking sleeves. 2024 is the 125th anniversary of Zhang Daqian’s birth. To commemorate Zhang Daqian, Neijiang combined traditional Sichuan opera with modern elements and created the modern Sichuan opera "The Great World".

The play starts with "Ten Thousand Miles of the Yangtze River" created by Zhang Daqian and is divided into four chapters: "Shanghai Adventure", "Dunhuang Reverie", "Red Cliff Dialogue" and "Looking at the Moon and Homesickness", respectively showing the young Zhang Daqian's life. The talents, philosophical pursuits, artistic soul, family and country conditions, and wandering spirit of the old Zhang Daqian show the audience a different "big world".

The play invites Zhang Ping, a national first-level director and Wenhua Award-winning director, Zheng Ruilin, a Wenhua Award-winning screenwriter, Lan Tian, a national first-level composer, a second-level professor at Shanghai Theater Academy, and the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games Pan Jianhua, the chief designer of actor costumes, Chen Zhilin, chairman of the Sichuan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, director of the Sichuan Opera House, and winner of the "Second Plum Blossom", and other top artists in the industry serve as the creative team to form a strong creative lineup.
Chen Zhilin, who plays the leading role of Zhang Daqian in the play, sang full of nostalgia as soon as he appeared on the stage. Chen Zhilin said: "After we polish it, I believe this drama will get better and better."
