"Shuangqinxia" was founded in 2014. Its mission is to give more people the opportunity to access classical music. In late 2016, Yang Boyao and Chen Weicheng gave up their playing positions with the Sydney and Queensland Symphony Orchestras and began hosting live classical comedy performances. Their world tour from 2017 to 2019 became the first-ever crowdfunded classical music world tour, revolutionizing the way classical music is presented.
