The MGM Hotel located on the west bank of Xuhui District has recently undergone a "big change". Sustainable design platform juma collaborated with artist Nigel Nolan to transform a guest room into an experiential art installation. At the same time, the "Flowers Pouring" exhibition including paintings and videos is also "online" at the entrance and lobby on the first floor of the hotel.
juma x nigel nolan hotel guest rooms will become a permanent fixture at MGM Resorts, showcasing nolan’s original paintings paired with juma’s custom furniture and textiles. The furniture is made from recycled materials made from recycled water bottles and highlights Nolan's printed design patterns.
This art installation in hotel rooms has also attracted the attention of many young people, who can immerse themselves in a creative environment and unleash their artistic imagination. “We are delighted to partner with Nigel Nolan, and our shared goal is to inspire artistic innovation and environmental awareness in young people through unforgettable experiences.” said Alia Zhuma, co-founder of Zhuma. Nigel Nolan said that this collaboration will allow more people to immerse themselves in the painting space.
