Recently, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., in accordance with the "Defective Automobile Product Recall Management Regulations" and the "Defective Automobile Product Recall Management Regulations" In accordance with the requirements of the Implementation Measures of the Regulations, the recall plan was filed with the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting from March 8, some Fengshen e70 cars produced between July 13, 2022 and January 5, 2023 will be recalled, a total of 41,123 vehicles.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall are due to insufficient strength of the right suspension fixing bracket of the drive motor, which may crack after long-term use, and the cabin beams shake more. In extreme cases, the connecting cables of the on-board charger and water heater are pulled, causing Connector failure causes the high-voltage protection to cut off power and lose power while the vehicle is driving, posing safety risks.
Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. will replace the fixed bracket of the right suspension of the drive motor for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge. At the same time, it will check the connectors of the on-board charger and water heater connection cables, and replace discolored or corroded parts to Eliminate safety hazards.
