The reporter learned that this year’s “Grand Drama Exhibition” has received an overwhelming response since its launch. A total of 20 universities and 29 plays in the province have applied to participate. After organized expert review and research, a total of 15 works were shortlisted for the final judging exhibition. The participating universities attached great importance to, carefully organized, and actively participated in the evaluation, and excellent works were frequently produced.
After on-site scoring by experts and university judges, and evaluation at the final review meeting, the selection results of this year’s drama exhibition were finally announced.
Among them, there are 6 works in the opera category. 4 works including Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics’ Peking Opera "Goddess Scattered Flowers·Cloud Road" won the Outstanding Inheritance Award, and 2 works including Changzhou Institute of Technology's Peking Opera "Mu Guiying Takes Command·Holding the Seal" were inherited prize. There were a total of 9 works in the long play category. The dance poetry drama "The Running of the River" from Nanjing University of the Arts won the special prize, 2 works including the drama "The Moon and Fireworks" from Changzhou University won the first prize, and 3 works including the drama "Yang Tingbao" from Southeast University won the second prize.
