Taiwanese singer Sharon Hsu, 40, has apologized after being asked to use a fake designer bag.
Last week, Sharon, who starred in films such as One Night in Taipei (2015), shared a video of her Hualien trip with her girlfriend on YouTube.
However, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the canvas bag she carried with her was a blatant counterfeit designed by fashion brand Burberry. The bag has the word "BUREEBRY" emblazoned on it, although if you're just taking a quick look, you probably won't notice it's spelled differently.

She later explained in an interview that the bag was a gift from a friend and she hadn't thought to check when it was given to her .
"I'm not a person who cares very much about whether something is branded or not. Every gift is an idea and it's normal to use it. I apologize to the brand. I didn't check the bag that was given to me. I just felt this The bag is very practical and easy to hold my swimsuit. I didn't think much of it," she said.
She added that she had previously purchased Burberry products for her husband and would not knowingly buy fakes.
However, some netizens do not buy her explanation.
