The story in this film is adapted from a real evacuation incident. Chinese diplomats gave up the opportunity to return home from North Africa, entered the war zone retrogradely, traveled through gunpowder smoke and deserts, faced guns and death, and led 125 Chinese diplomats with their bare hands. A song and a respectable (crying) story of a compatriot coming home.
saw that there is an old artist who plays who is who in the cast list - Mr. Li Xuejian, this movie can't be wrong! Older artists don't take all scripts (even supporting roles).
