Early career
Ving Rhames was born in New York, USA in 1959. My mother is a housewife and my father is a car mechanic. They are both farmers of South Carolina .
Rhames attended New York High School for the Performing Arts, where he developed his love for acting. After high school, he studied drama at SUNY Purchas, nicknamed "Ving" by fellow acting classmate Stanley Tucci. Ramos later transferred to the Juilliard School Department of Drama, graduating in 1983 with a bachelor's degree.
Acting career
Pulp Fiction,Mission: Impossible, The King of Fighters
Rhames is best known for his role as Luther Stekel in the Mission: Impossible franchise and in Pulp Fiction. "Fiction" as gang leader Marcellus Wallace.
In 1984, Remus made his debut in the Broadway play "Winter Boys" on . He started out in the movie The Man Under the Staircase (1991) and played Secret Service agent Duane Stevenson in Kevin Kline 's Dave (1993). He also played a friend of George Clooney in the 1998 film The Invisible Man.
Rhames plays Dr. Peter Benton's brother-in-law in the TV series ER Story. In 1997, Rhames played "Diamond Dog" Nathan Jones in the hit film " Air Prison " and Mookie in the "Ice Cube" film "Danger Zone."
Ving Rhames
In 1998, Rhames won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries/TV Movie for his TV series "The King of Fighters". At the ceremony, he presented his award to fellow nominee Jack Lemmon , saying, "I feel like being an artist is about giving, and I want to give this award to you." Meng was obviously moved by the move, and so were the star audience who gave Lemon a standing ovation. Lemmon tried unsuccessfully to return the award to Rhimes, saying it was "one of the best, sweetest moments I've ever known in my life." Hollywood Foreign Press Association later announced that they would Remus is preparing for the same award.
He has also appeared in "Life in Another World" (1990), "Stripper" (1996), "Out of Sight" (1998), " Stealing Trap " (1999), " Shuttle between Yin and Yang" (1999) ) and Dawn of the Living Dead (2004).
Rhames voiced the Cobra Bubble in the animated film "Interstellar" (2002).
