On the evening of October 16, a reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia, co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Foreign Affairs and the Mongolian Embassy in China, was grandly held at the China World Hotel in Beijing.
The film "Love on the Tula River" was declared by the Anhui Film Bureau and jointly produced with the Mongolian Embassy in China. The film takes the help of the builders of China Railway Fourth Bureau in Mongolia as a clue, tells the touching and tearful love story of two generations of China Railway people and Mongolian girls; it shows the profound friendship and beautiful love between the people of China and Mongolia. It praised the selfless dedication of China Railway people for the friendship between China and Mongolia and the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Mongolian Ambassador to China, Mr. Ganghuyage, spoke highly of the film. He pointed out that China and Mongolia are dependent on mountains and rivers, and are good neighbors and friendly. The movie "Love on the Tula River" is not only an artistic display of the friendship between China and Mongolia, but also the most meaningful gift presented by the Mongolian Embassy to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. At the reception, the film producer gave the film to the Mongolian ambassador, and the ambassador personally presented it to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is understood that the movie "Love on the Tula River" was produced by Western Film Group director Wang Mingjun and his elite team. It will be released in both China and Mongolia at the end of this year. According to industry insiders, due to the moving story, magnificent scene, beautiful scenery, unique music, and full of exoticism, the movie will surely be favored by the audience.
Bai Ma Chilin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese National People's Congress, and Mongolian Defense Minister Enkhbold attended the reception and delivered speeches. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Chinese People's Association for Foreign Affairs, and more than 450 representatives of the diplomatic envoys of the two countries and other countries attended the reception.
