, never forget

screen changes, look at the development of

years in the country

He is the same age as the Republic. Since the 1970s, with a white curtain and a movie projector, accompanied by the turning sound of the old film "Da Da Da", he traveled around the corners of the Yuan'an countryside, and provided spiritual food for the common people with his hand on his shoulder. 70 years have passed by, black and white old movies have turned into color, mechanical projections have become digital projections, and movie screens have grown from small to large. He is a witness to the development of Yuan'an's film industry. Today's "My Motherland and Me" interview, let us go to get closer to the light and shadow of the old film projectionist Zhou Xiangbing.

Zhou Xiangbing: Screen changes look at development, and the years are in the countryside - Lujuba

"There was a heavy snowfall that day, my mother was born and I was in the cabin..." This song "Look at the World, Work and People Are Liberation" is an episode in the old movie "Honghu Red Guards", Zhou Xiangbing will sing two lines when he is empty. In the past two decades of rural film screenings, the melody of every old movie is an unforgettable memory in Lao Zhou's heart.

In the 1970s, in the vast rural areas of Yuan'an, people lacked cultural and entertainment life. Being able to watch an open-air movie outside of work is already the most luxurious enjoyment.

Zhou Xiangbing: From sundown, work in the farmland in the morning, and go to sleep when it gets dark at night. There are no other cultural events. Basically none in rural areas. In 1971, in order to meet the growing cultural needs of the people, the government established a projection team based on the district and recruited projectionists throughout the county. At the age of 22, Zhou Xiangbing was selected by the district film projection team because he was young, educated, and politically reliable. Since then, he has forged an indissoluble bond with rural film projection work. He has been working for 17 years. In Lao Zhou's home, there is still an old notebook in the collection, and the screening information of the seventeen years is clearly recorded.

Zhou Xiangbing: As early as 1954, the Hubei Provincial Team sent a team to Yuan'an County and sent 4 employees. This was in 1954. It was under the management of the province and directly under the management. They had 58 screenings that year. The number of audiences ( Accumulated) more than 80,000 people, more than 80,000 people this is the first team.

Just like the long drought and the rain, the start of film screening in Yuan'an rural area has been warmly welcomed by the masses of rural people. Watching a movie in the village’s house in the extreme cold and scorching heat became a fond memory of the people of that era.

Zhou Xiangbing: It was very popular when movies were shown in the countryside. The cadres in the village were also enthusiastic, and the masses eagerly hoped that, for example, the movie is shown at night, and the movie is shown in this village. The students are still carrying stools. Some days are still bright, just waiting there. When the movie is shown, the crowds in the surrounding villages come, sometimes as many as several thousand people. You are like Guangping, the lotus shop, like this, when the movie is shown, the crowds in the surrounding villages all come. It is really crowded.

In order to allow more people to watch movies, Yuan’an’s rural film projection team continued to grow and develop. In 1956, based on the provincial film projection team, Yuan’an established a county film team; by 1966, Yuan’an’s film team was established. Each organized district had its own film team; then it developed into each commune and even each village, with its own film projection team.

Zhou Xiangbing: The most glorious years of Yuan'an's film career were 1983, 1984, and 1983. There were 58 film teams at that time. The number of screenings was 11,901 and the audience (cumulative) reached 5.15 million.

The gradual development of film projection in rural areas is inseparable from the hard work of film projectionists. In the 1970s, there were still some areas in the vast rural areas of Yuan'an that were not energized, and the voltage in the energized areas was also extremely unstable, failing to meet the requirements for film screening. Taking a generator into the village and entering the house was the standard equipment for projectionists at that time.

Zhou Xiangbing: A generator is about 180 jin to 200 jin. The generator is 5 horsepower. It has to be carried by two people. In addition to the old-fashioned projector, usually 5 people send the equipment to the next village.

When the traffic is underdeveloped, it’s all mountain roads. If you transfer from this village to that village, for example, there are willows in Jiunugou. There are so many steep slopes. Then you have to transport the equipment to the old willows, from salt ponds to tile houses It was as steep as Zhoujiaya to Taipingding, and we went to Chenjiacheng, Taipingding, where we played movies. We carry the

projector on our own, and we carry it on our back. It is about 30 kilograms, the film has nearly 20 kilograms, and the screen has more than 10 kilograms, so we carry it on our own. Take a rest, Rest and rest, a person weighs about seventy or eighty catties.

The cold comes and the summer, spring flowers and autumn fruits. Lao Zhou and his colleagues walked through the mountains and rivers of Yuan'an with their feet, and provided spiritual food for the common people with their shoulders and hands. They also witnessed the development and glory of our county's film industry. In the late 1980s, the country's reform and opening up achieved initial results. Home appliances such as televisions and video cameras have entered the homes of ordinary people, and movies can be watched at home without leaving the house, and film projection agencies have also continued to develop and change.

Zhou Xiangbing: In 1980, after the reform of the film system, Yuan'an County Film Company was established. The film company ended in 2002 and 2003, and the remaining people were merged into the Broadcasting Bureau.

started with the purchase of the first black-and-white TV in 1986, to the continuous updating of large-screen digital TVs, computers and smart phones. As an old film projectionist, Lao Zhou also fully enjoyed the reform and opening up and technological progress. The results. You can watch online movies with just a click of a mouse while staying at home, and it is more convenient and quick to watch movies through a smartphone.

At the same time, the development of film projection technology is also changing with each passing day. The film movies of the "Times" of Lao Zhou are now fully popularized in HD digital movies. In cities, people sit in large and comfortable cinemas and enjoy the visual feast brought by 3D movies. In the vast rural areas, with the implementation of the national “2131” public welfare movie screening project, high-definition digital movies are still delivered to the fields and houses. In the courtyard, people’s needs for watching movies have been truly met.

Villagers in Group 6 of Yangping Village, Yangping Town,

When we were young, we had to drive more than ten miles to watch a movie. Now the conditions are good. Every few months or two months, we send movies to the countryside. We can all receive education in movies.

Now the policy is good. Movies are often released, and the county often sends movies to the countryside, and sends movies to our villages. In our villages, the country has truly become rich and strong. Now we The standard of living has also improved. We must cherish the current happy life and implement the chairman’s "not forgetting the original aspiration and keeping in mind the mission". Life is getting better and better. The country is prosperous and the people prosperous.

Now, 70-year-old Zhou Xiangbing no longer goes to the village to show movies at home, but he sees all the development and changes in his eyes and is happy in his heart.

Zhou Xiangbing: We still have some souvenirs in our mood, but from another point of view, science has developed and society is progressing, so your form is lagging behind. Now there are scientific and technological things, and advanced things have replaced your previous backwardness. The form of publicity is changed, so we are also happy about this.
