20 dramas gather in China International Ballet Performance Season

2019 Chinese Opera Culture Week will be held as scheduled

Lao She Drama Festival "Cooking" 12 drama feasts
On 21st, the third Lao She Drama Festival opened at Beijing Tianqiao Art Center. This year is the 120th anniversary of Mr. Lao She's birth. The total domestic art auction turnover decreased by 20.8% year-on-year
On 24th, the China Auction Industry Association released the "2018 China Cultural Relics and Art Auction Market Statistical Annual Report". The annual report shows that the Chinese mainland cultural relics and art auction market experienced a brief rebound in 2017. In 2018, the turnover fell to 24.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 20.8%. In 2018, the Chinese painting and calligraphy sector, which occupies half of the Chinese mainland market, shrank by one-third, while the two categories of oil painting and contemporary art, and ancient books and inscriptions grew against the trend, increasing by 40.5% and 81.9% respectively.
