Since December 31, 2019, our commission has carried out search and retrospective investigations of unexplained viral pneumonia cases throughout the city. As of 8:00 on January 5, 2020, our city has reported 59 patients with unexplained viral pneumonia diagnoses, including 7 severely ill patients. The vital signs of the remaining patients are generally stable. All patients are currently being isolated in Wuhan medical institutions. Treatment, no deaths. Among the 59 patients, the earliest onset time of the case was December 12, 2019, and the latest onset time was December 29, 2019; 163 close contacts have been traced and medical observation is ongoing, and the follow-up of close contacts is still in progress .
