The movie " under the aliens " that is currently being screened is entirely shot with a special IMAX version. IMAX will have 26% more complete screen content than the ordinary version. Recently, an in-depth sharing event for imax’s special shooting of “Under the Stranger”, a guide for junior high school students in imax’s “Foreign Academy”, was held in Beijing. "Seniors" - director Wu Ershan, co-director Xia Peng, "senior sisters and senior brothers" Li Wanda, Song Ningfeng , Wu Jiakai, dismantled the special IMAX shooting technology and the behind-the-scenes stories of the movie for the audience.
"Under the Stranger" is director Wu Ershan's first film specially shot using IMAX. As a loyal supporter of the cinema experience, director Wu Ershan said: "With the increase in the (imax) aspect ratio, it is very important that we can use the space above and below the screen, because "Under the Stranger" has a lot of super powers and actions , In particular, the frame needs to be wide enough to more fully express the movement of the characters in space."
Wu Ershan took the "Abandoned Factory Group Drama" as an example to introduce in detail that Feng Baobao's flipping in the air can be viewed from multiple angles, such as looking up and looking down. This requires a wide enough field of view to present visual wonders, and the imax frame is relatively close to the image that our eyes can see intuitively. The
event not only showed the audience two "high-energy highlights" clips converted to imax format, but also showed many behind-the-scenes materials of the film for the first time. The ingenuity is not only behind the scenes, the actors in front of the stage are also 100% dedicated. IMAX special shooting reaches extremely clear resolution. The actors’ subtle facial changes and the fluttering of their hair when they fight. Every exquisite detail will be specially shot by IMAX. The filming captured it, and the film's actors all withstood the test of the imax lens.
Li Wanda, who plays Feng Baobao, shared that there is a scene in the film where a group of puppets are wiped out with a knife. More than 20 scenes were shot for this scene, and each scene had to be precise. In order to play Feng Baobao's expressionless and calm state, Li Wanda practiced not laughing and speaking for a long time before turning on the camera, so as to ensure accurate expression control in front of the camera.
