Public information shows that Wang Yongli, male, Han nationality, was born in Xianyou, Fujian in September 1966. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, has an on-the-job postgraduate degree, a doctorate in management, and is an economist.
In 1987, after Wang Yongli graduated from the Planning and Statistics Department of Anhui University of Finance and Commerce, he worked as a teacher at Fujian Commercial College. In 1991, he was transferred to the Secretariat of the Financial and Economic Committee of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress, and later served on the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress for a long time.
In 2005, Wang Yongli served as deputy director of the Fujian Provincial Department of Finance, and in 2013, he was appointed deputy secretary-general of the Fujian Provincial Government. In 2016, he returned to the Fujian Provincial Department of Finance as director. In 2018, Wang Yongli served as deputy secretary of the Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee, mayor of the municipal government, and party secretary.
In 2021, he took over as Secretary of the Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and became a member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee. Thereafter, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the CPPCC, and Dean of the Provincial Institute of Socialism.
