The theme of this year’s chorus festival is “Peace and Love Dreams Set Sail”, attracting contestants from 23 countries and regions, with nearly 60 participating teams, and a number of domestic and foreign participants and performances. More than 2,600 people. The competition has gold, silver and bronze medals, and a jury composed of 20 to 30 international experts. The judges will evaluate the singing skills, artistic level, overall performance, difficulty of the work, stage effect and other multi-dimensional combinations. In the
competition, the Dongpo Children's Chorus sang 4 choral works, "Drinking on the Lake, First Sunny and Later Rain", "Where the Bee Sucks", "Three Turtle Doves" and "The Sun Comes Out", and finally won the A2 Group of the 2024 World Youth Choir Festival And the gold medal in the e2 group competition.
It is reported that the Dongpo Children’s Choir was created by the Meishan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau. It has previously won the gold medal in the children’s category of the “2019 World Choral Grand Prix and the 4th European Choral Games” and the silver medal in the Grand Prix.
