It is understood that this training is hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Repertory Studio (Sichuan Art Fund Management Center). The training cycle is from July 2024 to January 2025, with a total of 180 days, including July 8 The period from August 6th to August 6th is the intensive teaching stage, from August 7th to August 14th is the style collection stage, and after that is the creation stage. The training class has a wide range of students, including young talents from provincial troupes, universities, and art research units across the country, as well as drama screenwriters, directors, actors, and drama professional teachers.
training aims to provide a learning and communication platform for young people with dreams of screenwriting, allowing them to hone their skills in professional training, improve their creative level, and lay a solid foundation for creating high-level drama works. At the same time, it is also to discover and cultivate a group of young screenwriter talents who understand the development history and artistic characteristics of Southwest drama, are familiar with the forms and procedures of Southwest drama, and can create drama scripts rich in Southwest regional and national characteristics.
It is worth mentioning that the outstanding works created in this training will also be included in the "Sichuan Province Excellent Drama Script Database" after screening. The works included in the database have the opportunity to receive support from the Sichuan Art Fund Youth Stage Art Talent Incubation Project to proceed to the next step. Incubation presentation realizes the effective connection between primary creation and secondary creation.
On the same day, Fu Chunshan, Party Branch Secretary and Director of Sichuan Repertory Studio (Sichuan Art Fund Management Center), Luo Hongliang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sichuan People’s Art Theater, Liu Ning, a national first-level playwright, and Xu, Vice President of Sichuan Arts Research Institute Warwick and others also attended the opening ceremony.
