Oscar talks about his training in Yanbian period
People who often come in and out of my house are either Cantonese or Congolese doing business in Guangzhou. They are active in the south of China all year round, so they told me that China is very hot, sometimes in summer It was hotter than Kinshasa and they all wanted to go back to Africa to escape the heat. I just thought that China is all Guangzhou, and the whole of China is very hot, without any concept of temperature difference. When I first arrived in Yanbian, I had to participate in the first training. The coach wanted to check my basic qualities. But as soon as I got off the car, I felt something was wrong. It was so cold that it made my blood freeze. When it comes to playing football or running, my legs don’t work. I said no, I want to go back, it’s too cold, please go back and put on more clothes, or go to the bus and take a breather. In fact, it must have been almost July at that time. The training that morning was a bit rainy and the temperature was close to 20 degrees Celsius, maybe a little lower. Anyway, it took me a few days to gradually adapt to the weather in Yanbian. .
