It was with Huang Cuihua's encouragement that 70-year-old Liu Lanzhen joined the "Qiao Sunset" choir.
Liu Lanzhen said that her children work out of town and she usually lives alone. When she has nothing to do, she likes to play cards with her friends to pass the time. I just sing at the top of my voice. "Following courses will start with simple lessons. We will select appropriate songs to practice singing according to the members' preferences, and we will also teach them some basic singing methods." Zhao Bing introduced.
In addition to the choir, Xinhua Community has also formed a "Grandma Nursing Team" in which many community elders volunteer. They are mainly responsible for escorting children to and from school near the primary schools under their jurisdiction. Huang Cuihua is also one of the volunteers. "There are many activities in our community to make our senior life more exciting, and also allow us to contribute and deliver some positive energy." Huang Cuihua said cheerfully.
