Regarding the question "What kind of mother and daughter are you?", the key words for Fu Juan and her three daughters' "migratory bird" family are "love" and "balance". Different daughters are given companionship at different times so that everyone can feel balanced. Love; Wang Luodan and his mother Xie Hongwu have different answers. In the eyes of their mother, they are friends and besties, but from the perspective of their daughter, they "occasionally criticize, always oppose, and look forward to the unknown."
The program focused on the family issues of mother and daughter for the first time. Tao Xinran opened up about her childhood during the conversation, and was moved to tears when she talked about being beaten for test scores as a child. Her mother, Tao Yuedi, expressed her apology and admitted that her harshness contained youthful vanity. This sincerity was understood by her daughter. Zhao Xiaotang also shared that she often lacked the company of her parents when she was a child, which caused her to grow into a dependent and anxious personality. She hopes that this journey can truly enhance the inner understanding between the two.
"A Daughter, a Mother" invited Du Sujuan, a professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and Dong Ying, editor-in-chief of China Women's News Family Weekly, to form a happiness exploration group to discuss with the audience modern ethical topics about mothers, daughters, families and even society. "These four groups of mother-daughter samples cover the commonalities and characteristics of Chinese mother-daughter relationships." The two experts expressed their feelings. They hope that through this joint exploration of the sojourn, they can show everyone the diverse mother-daughter relationships and think about the possibilities in life. Drawing lessons from the family’s relationship models and methods, we create a mother-daughter “communication manual” that can be reused by society.
